Eva Abou-Samra

Eva has a BSc in Medical Sciences (Honours) from Dalhousie University, where she initially focused her research in the basic sciences studying cardiovascular pregnancy adaptations and cancer. She joined the Respiratory Epi team in April 2026 to begin her thesis work focused on intrabreath oscillometry as an emerging technique to measure lung impairments with Dr Stanojevic and Dr. Maksym. She hopes to contribute to add evidence to the body of literature integrating oscillometry as part of clinical practice.

Outside academics, she enjoys being outdoors, playing recreational soccer, and iced coffee!
